So I found out about this post ON TWITTER! Second, the content is PERFECT and really hits the nail on the head. Selling over the bast 10-15 years has really changed. Referrals are KEY! THOSE THAT MASTERED THAT ARE DOING QUITE WELL WITH THE SOCIAL NETWORKS. The rest? You can become a Referral-master Jedi Knight as well. Just get started - it's the most intuitive thing. Add value, don't push, look, listen - you'll do fine. And Pat's comments are right on target as well. We're all moving so fast - SN's are invaluable in staying connected with more people more efficiently. The real challenge is putting boundaries around how much time you give to it since there is just an unlimited number of things you can do now.

Good luck with Brand Camp! Take lots of pictures and video!

Charles, great post. When people ask me how I have the time to do FaceBook and Twitter, my answer is I make the time. Since I travel a great deal and work from home, I don't have the same ability to spend a lot of time physically with my friends. Also, along life's highway you make acquaintances that become friendships when nurtured. So I make the time most days to spend some time on FaceBook. FaceBook has become that resource for me to keep in close contact with family, friends and acquaintences and even some business associates. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this subject.
