Channel Harvest Research has launched its annual national survey of independent insurance agents and brokers, with a focus on how they’ve been managing the challenging property insurance market, including how it has affected bundling home, auto and umbrella coverages.
Further, independent agents from around the country will reveal how their carrier partners are performing and what agents will need from them in the coming year. Channel Harvest is a division of Aartrijk.
Developed in collaboration with participating insurance carriers, the 2025 Channel Harvest study asks agents what they seek in a carrier relationship and why they prefer to work with certain companies. Respondents also rank specific carriers on 21 performance metrics; these include, for example, ease of doing business, coverage, technology, and underwriting and claims performance.
This is Channel Harvest’s 18th annual quantitative survey of independent agents, centering on their perceptions of the carriers with which they do business as well as of marketplace issues. Respondents include principals, producers and service staff. Independent agents who would like to participate can use this link to share their perspectives.
Channel Harvest provides insurers with unique, third-party, objective insight. Carriers use the details to benchmark what they already may believe about their agent distribution and to gather insight into relevant subject areas.
